FaithHealth Appalachia believes that supporting the leadership of faith communities will help to lead to strong and healthy faith communities.
This training is offered to faith leaders and church leadership by FaithHealth Appalachia as pasrt of its ministry to engage faith communities in the Tri-State area.
Participants can learn to:
- Recognize change as not only necessary but good for a healthy church
- Learn to lead through Kotter’s 8 steps of change
- Develop a congregational culture that welcomes change
- Manage the results of change within their church
- Identity and deal with personal grief that accompanies change.

Dr. Ed Rogers
Dr. Ed Rogers brings a great deal of experience in leadership having served as a pastor and leadership consultant to churches and businesses for over 25 years. A native of Wood County, Ed holds degrees from Alderson-Broaddus College, Eastern Baptist Theological and Palmer Theological Seminaries. His doctorate thesis was focused on helping business leaders integrate their spiritual development with their workplace leadership. He is passionate about helping leaders in the church and workplace lead in a way that honors ethical core values and impacts people and communities in a positive way. Ed has been active in the community as well as serving on numerous boards and committees over the years.
